The protagonists of Sebastian Klug's photographs are the night people of Berlin. The photos are not a part of the hustle and bustle of the party life, but yet they are connected with it. The spectrum ranges from bottle collectors and clubbers to bar cowboys. The pictures come across as if lost in dreams, but at times are also actually funny, such as the one of the girl who, though she is hugging a guy in the corridor in front of the rest rooms, is also busy playing with her phone. Sebastian Klug uses a mobile phone for his photography. The low resolution of the photographs and the high level of image noise reflect the arbitrary, virtually accidental character of the captured moments in a way that is typical of such situations: fleeting, unfocused, blurry and close to disintegration.
