Good-bye Sweden ist eine sehr persönliche Arbeit über ein Leben in Berlin. Die Fotografin hannah goldstein ist in Schweden geboren, war aber mit einem Fuß immer irgendwo anders. Sei es in Amerika, der Heimat des Vaters, oder irgendwo anders in der Welt. Sie fühlte sich lange so, als ob sie niemals einen Platz finden würde, den sie Zuhause nennen könne. Aber in Berlin hat sie diesen Platz schließlich gefunden.
“Good-Bye, Sweden” is a very personal artistic work about a life in Berlin. Although the photographer hannah goldstein was born in Sweden, she has always had one foot somewhere else, either in America – her father’s home country – or in other places in the world. For a long time she felt that she would never find a place she would call home, but in Berlin she has finally found just that place.
