For her series “Stalinallee vs. Karl-Marx Allee” Amélie Losier produced photographic records of old people, young parents and partygoers surrounded by the monumental architectural landscape of the 4.5 km boulevard that was once created as one of the GDR’s flagship building projects. Zeit Online gave her free rein with her project and presented the series in the form of a multimedia production. A freelance photojournalist, Amélie Losier works for various press outlets and cultural institutions in Berlin.
